In state DE and four star prospect Brennen Beyer made another trip to Ann Arbor this week, this time to watch some team workouts. Beyer previously made the trip for Michigan's 2nd junior day, and it seems like he's a lock to be a Wolverine.
He is taking other visits, but just so he can compare Michigan with other schools. MSU and Northwestern have already got visits, and Notre Dame could be the next destination, but if they don't live up to Michigan, you can expect him to pull the trigger before his senior season begins.
What position at Michigan is Breyer supposed to play? His listed weight is 215 which makes me think he's too small for DE (considering Roh came in at 230) so I'm assuming he ends up at "Quick" like Roh.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird to hear you talk about him as more or less a lock since rivals has UM out of his top 5. I know rivals is not to be trusted but for months I was going off the assumption he was a lock and then I saw his listed top 5. Granted of his top 5 4 schools (Cinncy, NW, Vandy, and Stanford) shouldn't be able to compete with UM so I'm not worried.
The way he talks in interviews just seems to give the impression that he likes Michigan a lot right now. All his family are UM fans, and he's been on campus a few times recently to talk with coaches.
ReplyDeleteAs for his position in college, well he needs to bulk up no matter where he plays, but I think your right with the "quick" position.
