Karlos Williams Update

Karlos Williams (Davenport, FL) is one of the top safeties in the class of 2011, and given Michigan's lack of depth in the secondary right now, he's a huge priority for the UM coaching staff.

Despite being a Florida State commit, Williams has always insisted that he'd visit Ann Arbor, along with a few other schools. It now seems like those plans are coming into fruition, as Williams plans to visit for the Wisconsin game late in the season. He could be accompanied on the trip by good friend and 2012 Michigan lean, Nick Patti.

The visit has not yet been confirmed, and even if it were, things would have to go pretty good for Williams to consider switching his pledge from the Seminoles to the Wolverines.

  1. Is there a realistic chance we get Jernigan, Watkins or Grant?

  2. Michigan has a chance with all three of those prospects, yet they don't lead for any of them.
Out of those, I'd probably say Sammy Watkins is the most likely to go blue, purely because he's visited and his teammate (Dallas Crawford) has Michigan as his leader.
Grant favors OSU and MSU, whilst Jernigan grew up a Florida fan, however he's looking for early playing time, which Michigan can offer him.
