- The nations #1 recruit for the class of 2011 finally committed to South Carolina. This is actually great news for Michigan, because it means Clowney won't be playing for Alabama in 2012 vs the Wolverines!
- The competition is heating up for Terry Richardson as the USC Trojans become the latest school to offer him. Michigan, Alabama and LSU are some of his other big time options.
- In state TE Ron Thompson is a candidate for Michigan's first 2012 commit. By all accounts he's a huge Michigan fan, and plans to visit the campus soon.
- Speaking of campus visits, the first event of the recruiting calender is next sunday; The Michigan football showcase. Exactly who's going isn't certain yet, but you should expect a couple of big names, (guessing the Cass Tech kids + O'Brien).
Benji how would you rate Ron Thompson overall? And how many stars do you think he will be..?
ReplyDeleteAnd do you think Chris wormley is a lock for Michigan and will he make a commitment early?
ReplyDeleteI've watched Thompson's film, and he seems pretty good. Probably a three star prospect right now, but with a good senior year he could move up to the four star range.
ReplyDeleteAs for Wormley, it's just Michigan vs Ohio State for him, and whilst he's a Michigan fan, I don't think we should call him a lock just yet. It's pretty even right now. He's not sure when he'll going to decide, but it could be before his senior season if visits go well.
how do you think are chances are looking right now for guys like gunner kiel zeke pike stefon diggs or james ross
ReplyDeleteI would say Wormley is anything but a lock. The other school is recruiting him hard, really hard, they are on him all the time. Kenny Hayes is Osu's best recruiter right now.
ReplyDeleteMichigan needs to really step it up if they want to get him. Maybe have Koger help out, same high school....just a thought.
