William Gholston (Detroit, MI) has announced he will still take official visits, despite verbally committing to Michigan State earlier this year. “I think I'm 100% sure, but I'm going to take visits to make sure I'm sure,” Gholston said of playing at Michigan State. “It's a lifelong decision.
Gholston now sets his sights firmly on playing linebacker in college, saying “I don't want to play defensive end at all.”
This could be good news for Michigan, who lost out on Gholston in the spring, however he didn't mention taking an official to Ann Arbor. Would more likely be an unofficial if he does want to visit Michigan again.
