Dee and Ha-Ha

Florida RB Demetrius Hart has officially cut Auburn and Arkansas from his list, leaving just Michigan and Alabama to fight it out for a commitment on Friday. This pretty much confirms what I said/guessed last week.

Check out this story on Hart from the Orlando Sentinel, here.

Side note: At the end of the article it mentions that Ha'sean Clinton-Dix remains 100% committed to Alabama and is done with recruiting. This finally crushes whatever small hopes Michigan had of getting the Dr Phillips pair.

  1. Just a quick comment on Dix. He did say he is "100% done" in the Sentinel article, and he has previous verballed to Alabama, so you could say he is definitely Alabama bound. However, technically he didn't say "100% to Alabama", just "100% done" so that may mean he has changed his mind and could be joining Hart should he decide for the Maize and Blue. It's possible.

  2. Possible, not probable Doug. As fans we just need to let this one go for the moment. Right now he's 100% committed to Alabama, if he has a change of heart on signing day, then so be it :)

  3. Sam Webb commented on WTKA that Dix would be foolish to say anything other than he was solid to Alabama because the backlash down south would be unbearable. He suggests fans wait to see if he comes for the Iowa game. If he does then we should quietly hold out hope, but not expect an announcement until closer to signing day.

  4. I hope we can land Thomas Rawls with Dee. Rawls sounds like a beast.
