Look on the bright side

I'm so glad this thug didn't come to Michigan.

  1. The ref should has kicked him out of the game for the first dirty play. I hope the MSU coaches do something about it.I doubt it. And the missed celebration call on the pick six should have been called.

  2. Man Um needs a bigger O line and some 6'-6" Wrs. Or some WRs that can catch the ball when it hits there hands.

  3. i would not mind having him on the team, mostly because he would be a diffent young man being coached by brady hoke and not dantonio. Yeah he was being a young man getting caught up in the moment yesterday and making some very idiotic choices, but if he were at michigan and did that we would not be saying man i wish he went to michigan state. we too would be pushing it off. I will stick to my guns here and say if he were at michigan he would be a completly different player under brady and greg.

  4. absolutely wrong Logan, we wouldn't push that off........ he may or may not have been different if at Michigan, I will say I'm 100% glad he's not.

Hoke got stuck with a lot of small guys, can't do anything about that right now. (Thanks RR)
Thought the offense cost us the game. Defense played pretty well. Got to move on.

Personally I do not like switching QB's like Hoke did. I am sure they were trying to get a spark, but it looked like our receivers were out of place and Denard's passing was not good and he did not have much time. O-line was out matched by MSU. But hey were 6-1 and overall doing better then I thought we would.

  7. Was he helping him up? That's ridiculus. Didn't they suspend or kick LaGarrett blount off the team for punching that dude

yes blount was suspended for what was suppose to be the whole season for punching the Boise player at the end of the game. However, for completing "specific criteria" set forth by the staff he was reinstated after 10 games. I believe if the MSU staff does not come down with some kind of suspension for Gholston the NCAA should step in and suspend him. Because as far as i can tell it was the same kind of blatant punch as what Blount did over 2 years ago

  9. I agree that the NCAA should suspend Gholston for punching someone during a game. It's probably a pretty safe assumption that Dantonio won't do anything since he's a huge hypocrite (don't forget he coach with/supports the Vest). The NCAA stepped in and suspended Brittney Griner when she punched an opposing player in the face during a game and they should in this instance too. He honestly shouldn't even been allowed to finish the game...

  10. It wasn't JUST the punch. What I think was even worse was when he piled on Robinson late, which is a penalty in itself, AND he grabbed the facemask and yanked on it. THAT it worse than the punch because he could've seriously injured Robinson. Yeah, the punch is bad too and uncalled for regardless. From what I saw, it looked like the UM player was actually grabbing his facemask and holding him down, when they showed the replay during the game. Should've been a penalty on UM but the refs didn't see that part, just the punch.
I am glad he doesn't go to UM for those reasons alone. If he were at UM, maybe he'd be a different person, maybe not. Either way, the COACHES would do something about it for sure. Come on, they suspended their punter for breaking team rules, what would they do with someone who yanks on someone's facemask after piling on, AND throws a punch during a game? I can't believe the officials let him finish the game. Doesn't surprise me the coaches allowed him to finish, it is MSU afterall. Used to be the teams in Florida had the most criminals on their teams, I think MSU has taken a page out of the Florida schools books and started recruiting from the prisons and juvinial corrections centers. There's a reason most of their recruits tend to not be recruited by UM
