Quick hitters

- Firstly, defensive commitment Pharaoh Brown says he will be start as a tight end at Michigan. I guess this isn't too surprising given that A.J Williams is likely to grow into an offensive lineman, and Michigan really needs more tight ends after Chris Barnett left the program over the summer. This move shouldn't have a big effect on Michigan's current class.

- There's been a lot of talk about Shaq Thompson visiting Michigan. It sounds like it will happen eventually, but probably not for a while, and I wouldn't be too hopeful of it either. Yuri Wright is probably a more realistic option right now if Michigan wants another DB.

  1. What would you say the chances are of Armani Reeves reopening his recruitment? If I remember right he.was considering Michigan..

  2. I really don't know. It's not like a normal coaching change, because in a way recruits might have expected JoePa to depart during their time at PSU, albeit in much different circumstances.

  3. Yeah I remember Pharaoh showin up at a nike camp or something and impressing people as a reciever, so I'm all for it. Him and Funchess should be nice weapons for Morris. If we only got 2 spots left I'd kinda be hoping for Madaris and Wright. Reeves would be great but Yuri could step in right away and compete with Floyd for the number 2 spot (Countess is already the man).

  4. Im a huge fan of Pharaoh Brown playing TE. He is an absolute stud in with his hands, nobody can defend a jump ball against him.

  8. @ Jer89... ESPN has OSU failure to monitor on front page

  9. With the latest reports of OSU getting hit with failure to monitor today what does this do for the recruitment of Washington, Stanford and Dunn. Dunn maybe a lock now. But this could change the rest of the recruiting class for UM.

  10. My thoughts exactly Jer89. Good lawd the B1G is in shambles these days!

  11. So what do you think OSU will get for penalties? I see they are only imposing a total five lost scholarships... That is a joke. I would hope 3-5 schollies a year for 2-3 years, plus a 1-2 year postseason ban.

  12. well if Pharaoh Brown said that it is because he has plenty of self-esteem and self-confidence to do what he said and some bookmakers online actually think that he will in fact become a star for Michigan
