RT @ScoutRecruiting Dunn Reaffirms To Buckeyes
As this tweet says, Brionte Dunn will be a Buckeye.
I literally just posted something about how Dunn and Kozan would shape the rest of the class with their decision timetables, but now that is mute.
Our most likely final five will be Chesson, Grant, Reeves, Kozan and Wright. (Pretty darn good)
Plus we're going super hard after Ty Issac now for sure! This development with Dunn hurts, but got to be positive and look to the future!
Which comment are we suppose to ignore?
ReplyDeleteI figured it was coming since coaches were in Illinois for Ty Isaac today. He is a MUST GET in 2013. Plus, he looks to be faster than Dunn and is an overall monster. Dunn will realize what a horrible decision he's made when three years from now, he has his career best season of 100 carries for 400 yards in Meyer's spread.
ReplyDeleteHis heart was alway with them. And that is fine. Now the coaches can focus on player UM really need.
ReplyDeleteI knew it earlier when Dunn tweeted "im about to get tatted! bhahahahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteJust like we figured
ReplyDelete"Dunn: I always wanted to be a Buckeye. This is over. I am going to Ohio State"
he chose his heart instead of his head, no biggie.
In other news
Dymonte Thomas tweeted
"Ohio State just offered me. Haha but its to late now im Blue Nation now!"
bwaaaaaa!!!! screw the blue
ReplyDeleteThats how the game goes bloggers. No hard feelings, we stay professional!! Its still WOLVERINE NATION 4 LIFE
ReplyDeleteWho cares, we got Fitz for now and we will get Isaac and he will end his career with about 2,000 more yards than Dunn......
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Dunn, I wish him well, except for when he plays U of M then I hope Pipkins, RJS and Bolden stuff him consistently over the next three or four years.
ReplyDeleteThat makes this class clearer now, hopefully we finish with the five Benji listed for a great first full Hoke recruiting class. Then move on to Ty Isaac and the rest of the 2013 class.
This could be a very good few years here for the Michigan, OSU rivalry, I am looking forward to it.
Just read that Yuri Wright is committing to Ohio State which is no suprise. Another kid from his school is also committing so I wonder who that could be.
ReplyDeleteanyone else notice this anonymous who claims to not be a troll just commented "screw the blue"
ReplyDeleteHonestly i didn't want Dunn anyways he seemed like a drama queen to me. I thought we had plenty of depth at Rb and needed to address other issues like OL. Also Wright is at the top of my list and yes I know we shouldn't look at the star ratings(just look at Tyrann Mathieu's rating coming out of high school) but i think Wright has the potential to be the best corner we have had since Charles
Anonymous why don't go some where and eat a d***. I know youre a buckeye
ReplyDeletelmao, Yuri Wright won't be committing to Ohio State. He hasn't even got them in his top five? He's visiting UM, Rutgers, Colorado, Georgia and Notre Dame officially.
ReplyDeleteThere would have to be a drastic change of plans for him to end up at Ohio St. Its not impossible, but I dont think it will happen!
I changed the settings so that anyone can comment on the blog now (as some people were having trouble with blogspot accounts etc).
ReplyDeleteI swear ESPN has a man crush on Meyer.
ReplyDeleteIf we were taking a back, I certainly wanted Dunn. He's a talented kid and although I was never sure what his intentions were he is our loss and tSIO's gain. I hope that he is able to flourish all but one or two games a year.
ReplyDeleteI hope that in the end, Meyer is not what many believe he will be. On a more biased note, I have no idea why any parent would want their kid to go to tSIO. That school just feels dirty but somehow has this great propaganda machine has have so many bad things in the past. I can't help but think that Meyer is feeding this kids a line of crap.
No more venting. Good luck Bri'onte.......I wish you the best but hope your cousin gets bragging rights in the end.
those who stay will be champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!go blue baby!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe already have Fitz and Rawls is a monster. Good luck Dunn. Missing out on a monster o-line and some championships.
ReplyDeleteBenji, do you think the coaches would really accept both Reeves and Wright? It seems like a lot to take 5 DB's in this class.
ReplyDeleteI was having trouble before - I'm a different "anonymous", not the paranoid ohio troll. I actually feel sorry for Dunn - we might see him in 3 or 4 years, and even then it will only be for a couple of carries. He was ALREADY AN OHIO COMMIT so the only thing ohio gets out of this is avoiding a public relations debacle if he had gone Blue.
ReplyDeleteWe already have a great class. Ohio sucks and who I hope they get a good class this year so that we can kick the crap out of them twice a year instead of just once a year. It's great to be a Wolverine. i'm out.
I think Reeves and Wright are two of the highest rated players on our board, so there's no problem with taking them both.
ReplyDeleteI've never really cared much to get Dunn honestly, especially after Johnson committed. Like dude said, Rawls is a monster and I think a redshirted Justice Hayes steps up next year as the third down back. Not to mention Fitz can run on anyone.
ReplyDeleteMy final 5:
1. Yuri Wright
2. idc
3. idc
4. idc
5. Reciever
I think Kalis is going to decommit if the sanctions are not severe. Just sayin. At least it opens up another scholarship.
ReplyDelete1. Not one commit will switch to OSU, yes not getting dunn stinks but its not the end of the world because issac is much better. Also OL Dan Gibbs will walk on he is a 6'7 320 pound monster who is the power lifting champ in the state of Michigan
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we have a shot with banner diamond or garnett. And do we have a possible shot with diggs
ReplyDeleteRon tompson?/////
ReplyDeleteRemember everyone, don't feed the trolls.
ReplyDeleteIn regards to rawdawg, I'm not expert but I don't think you can ever have enough DB's or Dlineman. Depth is part of what makes LSU's defense so scary. So I hope we get both Wright and Reeves.
Also just wanted to say thanks again Benji for the blog and all the work you put in.
Who wants Dunn if he has malice in his heart for the Maize and Blue...not me.
ReplyDeleteGO BLUE ~ STAY TRUE ~ FU OSU!!!
Dunn would have been a nice pick up, if nothing more than to get an ohio player. Meyer is on a tear right now, but recruits see to be in place... Am I off in saying that I would rather have Meyer than Hoke?
ReplyDeleteI think we can still pull of Garnett. Getting both Wright and Reeves isn't an issue since Gant may be a WR when it's all said and done. Also, some will get redshirted and position changes may occur.
ReplyDeleteTy Isaac >>>>>> B. Dunn
@Matt is it for sure Gibbs will be a walk on?
ReplyDeleteAs far as Banner from what i have heard we have fell to the background with him. But for Garnett and Diamond we still have a shot although Diamonds past visit this weekend to ohio made that shot look bleak. Thompson is committed to Syracuse but i don't believe we have been pursuing him since Browns decommitt. From what ive heard our shot will Diggs has all but closed.
Is there a way Benji can block Anonymous from the blog?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous There is no coach i would rather have right now than HOKE
ReplyDeleteJabba the Hoke!!! Now that's funny!!
ReplyDeleteWe are upset about not landing a recruit that was committed to OSU before? HUH? great talent.. great player, would love to have him, but its just not so. TSiO is on a tear, but lets be honest.. Some of these guys just needed a reason to go to TSiO, and Meyer is that reason. Shouldnt be surprised. All knew this was going to happen... Focus on our guys and watch what happens.
ReplyDeleteIt was great when OSU fans where largely unaware of this blog
ReplyDeleteMichigan would not be Michigan without Ohio players! You are a non-factor!!!
ReplyDeleteHow many Anonymouses, or are they Anonymice are there or is there just one bi-polar one?
ReplyDeleteOn the coaching front.....yep, Meyer is pretty, has a great record, a NC ring and countless other accolades but what I suspect he doesn't have is integrity. From his retirement and the reasons for his retirement, to the lies about his own current hiring and then his unquestionable foresight about tSIO's impending sanctions. I can only imagine the crap he feeds these kids. He is a perfect fit for tSIO.
Hoke is not a pretty boy, he's a blue collar bust your ass, work for what you get kind of guy. His record isn't stellar but he hasn't walked into programs or money that have allowed that to happen. He's a good, solid coach who cares about his kids...... Watch his reaction to Hagerup missing the snap in the "Ohio" game.
I rather suspect that we won't have as good a record next year as we did this year and I don't give a rat's ass!!! I'll take Hoke's ethics and integrity any day. In time Meyer will be seen for what he is.
Just my two cents.
This troll says....my bad, let me clarify, you are a mf'n nonfactor!!!
ReplyDeleteI honestly believe he will have no more than 4-500 yards a year rushing at best. You can't blame him for going with his heart. Urban liar better steal any of our commits.
ReplyDeleteOk, I think I'll change it back to you have to have an account to post lol
ReplyDelete@GBN i believe you spoke for all of UM nation on that post.
ReplyDeleteAny OSU fans, just remember:
ReplyDelete40-34
and
58–43–6
example of dumbassification!!!
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahaha
Benji.....that's the trouble with the Queen's subjects......we're just too trusting!!!
ReplyDeleteRemind me of something if you would please? Who is the all time winningest program in college football history is?
ReplyDeleteEh...we miss out on Dunn.....Let's see how those sanctions play out.....This is a classic example of what the NCAA is really about....Money....I mean Michigan lost scholarships over extra practice time, and OSU had players getting 7-800 checks for a charity event, free tats...driving cars, making $40 grand....and still the possibility of no sanctions?
ReplyDeleteThis rivalry just got nastier....and with the way Michigan is going...The rivalry is back in full force.....and besides with Dunn...I want people who want to be here.... I think Kalis stays....We will be dominate from here on out.
Not worried one bit about Dunn. Good player? Yes. The good news is Brady Hoke and his staff have a whole class full of good players that want to be at Michigan. No need to worry about the players at ohio when we've got great ones that will play their butts off for Michigan.
ReplyDeleteAs for Kalis, I am confident he will stay. Not sure about you guys, but if I was getting booed by fans from my OWN high school on friday nights, that wouldn't really change my mind. I'm sure he wants to get out of America's armpit as soon as possible.
Kalis's FB profile pic is him in a #67 Michigan jersey with Coach Hoke and his mom in his arms! Kyle isn't going anywhere. Hoke and Co. will wrap up this class in style and get 2013 moving right along.
ReplyDeleteThis may be a reach but I like our chances with Garnett since he and Magnuson are tight. Final players for this class:
Yuri Wright
Armani Reeves (Gant may play WR)
Sam Grant (Kalis' teammate)
Jehu Chesson (wish Diggs was realistic tho, such a talent)
Josh Garnett (probably Kozan, but Boehm would be great too)
Can't lose what you've never had. Can't blame him for going with his heart. Hopefully this opens the door for another talented player.
ReplyDeleteThanks a million for this blog. I visit a few times a day to check out the latest.
Go Blue!
I think OSU will end up with a higher ranked class then Michigan but we will still beat them a lot the next 10years.
ReplyDeletewhat a joke meyer lied to him or he does not want to run a 1000 yards. i think he will be sorry. i hope he changes his mind?
ReplyDeleteBy next season, Urban is going to be throwing out tattoo ideas for Greg Mattison because he wants and needs him so bad.
ReplyDelete2013 Ohio State commit:
Tim Tebow finally loses and decides to go back to college. Urban Meyer finally gets sleep.
I've been following this blog for months now and I just wanna say its great to see all u guys representing the victors like this. I'm finally a member now and excited!
ReplyDeleteDunn would have been nice but as long as i can remember Michigan has been a dominate running team no matter who we have committed. In fact our last highly touted RB commit was Kevin Grady, can anyone tell me where he's at? Not saying 5 star rbs are bad just saying we have never needed them. Fitsgerald is a 3 star kid and I will almost bet he goes for 1300 yds next year along with Denards 1100 yds, Better get with it Meyer cause we ain't slowing down for anyone! Hope you enjoy watching us in New Orleans!
Still think it's liklier that Michigan ultimately endsup with Brown at TE and Garnett over Kozan or maybe Bisnowaty/Boehm. If the coaches have a good feeling about Garnett and Kozan has taken a ton of visits and still hasn't committed then he may be getting slow-played. Also think Brown, while busy washing the egg off of his face, would still like to be a Wolverine, and the coaches are still recruiting him.
ReplyDelete@Chris-Just for reference Michigan currently has the #2 overall class according to both Rivals and Scout, the #3 overall class according to 247 Sports, the #6 overall class according the ESPN-On Crack Recruiting Services, and #1 overall according to Maxpreps. With so many of our players trending towards a 4th star and 5 spots yet to fill we could have the #1 class according 3 or 4 out of 4 services and one drunken hobby-enthusiast making a blind money grab service (ESPN). I don't think there's much chance Meyer suddenly pulls 5 or so 5 stars in a month.
ReplyDeleteI think OSU will end much stronger then Michigan and i also think they will have several 5* guys. For some crazy reason people are drinking the Meyer koolaide.
ReplyDelete
