Holloway to Michigan?

Slot receiver prospect, Prince Holloway (Cape Coral, FL), says he's virtually 100% sure that he wants to attend the University of Michigan next season with his cousin Dallas Crawford. He claims a scholarship offer from the Wolverines (this had been questioned recently) so it looks like he's just waiting on his ACT score from this year.

Holloway is a big fan of Rodriguez's offense, and plays in a similar spread in high school. He's had over 1000 yards receiving this fall to go with 13 TD's to go with 500 yards rushing. Rumors today suggest that RR is on his way out, and if that's the case, West Virginia would likely be the choice for the speedy Holloway.

  1. I heard Adam Scheftner (the ESPN insider) says Harbaugh will take over in January. Scheftner is a Michigan alum, so really he shouldn't be spreading rumors.

  4. Jim is going to 49ers. Now what? Brandon must be cautious with handling coach issue.

  5. aside from schefter being a michigan alum he said this on air on an nfl show. harbaugh is getting attention from the nfl about coaching jobs too. schefter is pretty legit when it comes to rumors too, as he has credible sources. i don't think he would have said anything if it wasn't a legitimate rumor, his job would be on the line. we'll know soon.

  6. 49ers fired Singletery after Schefter said about rumor. Therefore, his saying is not credible. Still, I beleive Jim is going to 49ers unless Jon Gruden accept the offer.

  7. Troy, you're right that Brandon must be careful now. Even if Harbaugh is now unavailable, he still can't announce that RR is safe because that would show he wanted to get Harbaugh all along.
I hope Harbaugh goes to the 49ers, because then RR should be safe, I don't think DB would get rid of RR for anyone other than JH.
Jon Gruden is mentioned for every coaching job nowadays, college or NFL; but he seems happy in his analyst role for ESPN. Maybe he's just waiting for the right opportunity. We'll see.

  8. Benji, Let's get the rumor mill rolling.... Jon Gruden to Michigan!!

Even though I couldn't disagree with you more about the coaching situation, I really enjoy your work and this blog. Happy Holidays.
    P.S.
I got to watch Chris Wormley play all his games this past fall, and he needs to be wearing Maize and Blue in 2012. He keeps getting bigger. My guess, he's probably 6'7" about 270 and hasn't lost a step.

  9. Wormley is a guaranteed four star prospect already, he's already got some big offers. Fortunately he seems to be down to Michigan or Ohio State already, and even the Buckeyes aren't too hopeful about this one. Early signs point to UM as a slight leader.
