Three star safety prospect Sheldon Royster (Jersey City, N.J.) will visit Michigan officially on January 7th, and then UNC the following weekend before making his collegiate decision.
His current top two includes South Carolina and Rutgers, but those are the two schools he's already visited, so its almost natural that he has those programs on top right now. By the sounds of it, the Rutgers trip went really well, and he certainly has a good relationship with Greg Schiano, so they might be the team to beat right now.
I don't know much about Rutgers or USC's depth chart, but it surely can't be as appealing as Michigan's is at free safety? Marvin Robinson and Ray Vinopal are two freshman that currently make up the two deep; so Royster would definitely get his chance at UM.
