Chances are that Michigan has another commit coming today, as Allen Trieu just tweeted that Michigan fans 'Shouldn't go far'. Obviously my first thoughts go to Mario Ojemudia, who was said to be almost ready to decide.
All three members of the Farmington Hills trio made it in today, as did James Ross for some reason? I imagine he's just trying to recruit Ojemudia and Burbridge, which could be great. So yeah, stay tuned!
Sidenote: I won't talk about the whole Darryl Stonum thing, it doesn't affect recruiting because he's a senior, it just means we're going to be slightly worse on the field this year without him.
i missed out what happenened with Stonum?
ReplyDeleteHe's been "indefinitely suspended"
ReplyDeleteStonum was suspended indefinitely by Hoke. Not sure the exact reason, but he had a DUI in 2008 that he still has probationary responsibilities for that he was having trouble completing as of last year. He even went to jail for a few days because he wasn't living up to his probation. Speculation is that either he had another DUI or he is still failing to complete his probation.
ReplyDeleteThats a shame i've been predicting a breakout season from him, but we still do have Roundtree, Hemmingway, and Odoms (although he doesn't really fit the system) as a solid receiving corps.

According to mgoblog it was Paul Thurston who visited not James Ross. "A solid OT out of Colorado is visiting this weekend as well."
ReplyDeleteThis Ojemudia kid is a beast!!! Just watched some film and he's got some talent and lots of strength! Hope we land him!
ReplyDeleteMARIO'S A WOLVERINE!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf this is true it is a big deal hopefully they get more commits out of this one. Hoke and staff is doing a outstanding job recruiting.
ReplyDeleteIts official 5 min ago!!
ReplyDeleteI think Shane Morris should pledge a year early so we can snag a few WR recruits and have them waiting for him.
