So it's official now, four star CB Terry Richardson just tweeted that he's a Michigan commitment, joining his good friends James Ross and RJS, who are already in the fold.
This is a great pickup for Michigan, as TR is one of the top players in the Midwest, let alone the state of Michigan, and his commitment won't go unnoticed by the other DBs that Michigan are after.
More on that later, in the commitment profile.
Hell yeah! Go blue!
ReplyDeleteWho comes with him in Hokes 2x2 tactic? Im thinking Standifer, but he hasn't visited yet I dont believe.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!
ReplyDeleteAny sign of a O-Line commit coming soon?
im going with Armani Reeves, ala T RIchs FB post to him few days ago.
ReplyDeleteDiamond is the first to commit for the line I believe. Terry is a great commit for this team. Man it is great to be a wolverine fan right now.
ReplyDeleteArmani could be next he has been hinting about where should he take his services too. Maybe T-Rich got his mind working.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that State is NOT getting these guys! That's got to hurt alot. Co-chumps of the Big 10 and they can't recruit a decent water boy! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAll we need now is Gunner Kiel to commit and WR will start falling into place.
ReplyDeleteGo Blue!!
So will Offensive lineman to block for him
ReplyDeleteGunner Kiel can go somewhere else ...We have our QB of the future in Morris ..
ReplyDeleteThis news could prompt Wayne Morgan as well since it's a Michigan/Rutgers race for him.
ReplyDeleteWe need couple of offensive recruits :/
ReplyDeleteI think this pushes Armani Reeves and Wayne Morgan a little they are both friends with T-Rich and that is one less spot available on the Wolverines roster.
ReplyDeleteHey Benji, listening to TR committment on Sports Talk 1050 WTKA this mornning. they were talking about Jarron Jones(DT) who committed to Penn State,is having secound thoughts. According to his family his main priority is academics, is going to make a visit to Michigan soon!
ReplyDeleteWe need all of our Michigan Defensive recruits there to meet him. Show how he gels with them and make him feel welcome. This guy could be a huge pick up for our team and a lynch pin on the front line.
ReplyDelete@ Lash they are probably in his ear on Facebook and Twitter already .. These recruits want a super class on defense .. Just think we could possibly have a whole strating defense from this 1 class in a few years if we get a more recruits
ReplyDeleteI still think we need taller CB'S atleast 6'0 which is why im pushing for Standifer and recently offered Will Hines ...
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody know what they are saying on the MSU blogs. They have to crying again. Hoke is reminding them who the Big Brother is.
ReplyDeleteWe have 10 or so spots to fill and 8 months until National Signing Day. Question is who and when?
ReplyDelete@Jer89 They're saying them on a few Mich blogs. Any Freep article about Michigan is full of sparty. The 2 other kids they're really into are Burbridge and O'Brien. Check out Genuinely Sarcastic, talking about the in-state recruiting battle. Very Funny.
ReplyDeleteBenji, I know you are cathing up on your sleep but who do you think the next commit is and when do you think it will happen. Whats happening on the offence side of the ball? I am waiting for the O to catch up alittle to the D. And I know the D really needs to get better and thats is where Hoke needs to spend his time but he does not want the O to be where the D was last year.
ReplyDeletewhat battle?
ReplyDeleteMichael I did'nt know there was much of a recruiting battle going on right now. Hoke seems to be taking care of business right now.
ReplyDeleteSo how is Michigan State going to feel about battling for third place in the legends division for the foreseeable future? There is no way they get past Wisconsin, Michigan, OSU, Nebraska and Penn State without in-state recruiting and no national presence. I think Hoke may have put little brother into permanent irrelevancy here.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think for the foreseeable future both divisions will have 4 teams with winning seasons and potential bowl eligibility. I think Michigan, Nebraska, and Iowa will consistently lead the Legends with Sparty, Northwestern, and Minnesota fighting it out for 4th place and a potential bowl game on average. Strange we'll face Nebraska every year but never really compete with them for recruits.
ReplyDeleteSome of the MSU bloggers are being as cocky as some of us (let's be bigger than them.....I know it's hard sometimes :) ). I'm pissing some of them off by jumping into their brain dead conversations. One of those included a slam on the Cass Tech kids and how they're always ranked so high but so few of them actually make it and how they have so much talent but can't win a playoff game. I pointed out the irony that they offered both of our Cass Tech recruits. I swear to God it's like dealing with a bunch of twelve year olds. I think I've had two relatively intellectual conversations with sparty fans over there. They can't help yakking about how we win the May trophy for recruiting, the September Heisman trophy but still get our asses handed to us on the field when we play them. I swear that they only remember the last three years and forget the, and forgive me if I'm off a game or two but our 67-21-5 record against them. Oh! and BTW, we've outrecruited them the last three years and they still kicked our ass!!! I'm not a hater.....sorry guys and gals. And I enjoy a good conversation with a Sparty fan but it's hard to find one over there who isn't a total ass. So to summarize. They're still talking smack which pisses me off because I think it might take us another year to kick their green and white asses but in the end we'll have one thing in our program that they won't....Long term Greatness. Go Blue!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who haven't seen this......tweeted by Zoltan Mesko and it's worth checking out. www.michiganrejects.com
ReplyDeleteThis is very funny. I did't get it at first but when I did it's very funny. If you go to the site and don't get it just stop and think of the name of the link and the site.
ReplyDeleteDamn its great right now! Picking up great players and ANOTHER OSU scandal is about to break. Feels like X-Mas when your 7 all over again!! lol
ReplyDeleteWhat's the new UO$ scandal???
ReplyDeleteYa what's the new scandal?
ReplyDeleteCan't find a link, but numerous feeds are talking about a housing scandal that should be released in the next few days. It's all over twitter. If someone has a link can you post it? Benji, we miss you man. Miss all the updates, this site is the best of all the Michigan recruiting ones for sure in my eyes!
ReplyDeleteI second Brian. This Blog is the gold standard for Michigan football recruiting. I need my fix!
ReplyDeleteThe housing scandal most of been what chris spielman was talking about. When he said he thought there'd be more bad news for Ohio.
ReplyDeleteIt is a Sports Illustrated story that is supposed to come out. It involves vacations, Housing, and maybe even cash for players and their families. Should be amazing when this happens.
ReplyDeleteProbably wont be able to blame ALL of it on the vest anymore. This could get interesting...
ReplyDeleteInteresting rumour. Does anybody else have any info about this? I can't seem to find anything online other than on this site. What was said on twitter about it?
ReplyDeletewatch the news this weekend
ReplyDeleteNothing yet on the latest OSU scandal, I've googled every form of OSU scandal and searched Twitter and found nothing. But here's a good read about all of the turmoil the entire situation has brought to that school in Ohio:
