Antonio Poole commits

As expected, LB Antonio Poole has announced for Michigan tonight during a basketball game at his high school. This is a nice pickup for Michigan, and shows just how good a recruiting weapon Greg Mattison can be; Poole hasn't even visited.

This gives Michigan four LB's in the class, but they are likely to add at least one more, and probably two in Leilon Willingham and Frank Clark. More to follow later.

  1. Brady Hoke and Mattison are some recruiting BEAST

  3. Seems like one of the LB could be eventually used as a rush end. Hoke and Mattison seem to be aggressively pursuing several quick/undersized DE. Seems they've identified this as an area of need. Perhaps an LB recruit could fit such a role.

  4. I think Brennen Beyer will end up back at DE.

  5. For sure. Beyer was always categorized as a DE by all the recruiting sites.
