First Reactions

Michigan commit Jack Miller seems very happy with the Brady Hoke hire and is looking forward to meeting the new head coach once he's had time to settle down. Miller has received renewed interest from other schools following RR's firing, so it's good to know he's 100% blue.

Miller has also stayed in contact with fellow Ohioans' Chris Rock and Greg Brown. Rock is still all in for Michigan, and Brown has enrolled early, so it's safe to say he's on board with the new coach too.

Should be hearing plenty about Blake Countess, Dallas Crawford and Jake Fisher on what they make of the Hoke hiring over the next week, so look out for that.

  1. First off LOVE the blog. Are you hearing anything on the rest of the coaching staff and who will fill what. Heard Hoke will bring his OC Al Borges with them and that is it so far.

  2. Hoke is getting huge props from former players, Desmond Howard, Braylon, Mike Hart, Chuck Woodson, Cato June, Dhani Jones.....interesting to say the least.

  3. Also, bringing Borges over might be a good thing, he has the ability to adapt offenses to match personnel, which could work well at Mich.

  6. I really want them to get Randy Shannon as a DC. It would help out hoke on the recruiting trail and then help develope the players we already have without the pressure he had on him in Miami. Go get him DB!!!!

  7. I'd rather have Mickey Andrews as a DC he's more of a old school guy which seems to fit Michigan's style of previous successful defenses

  8. All you need to know -

"I'm excited for Brady Hoke and even for Michigan," Woodson, who won the Heisman Trophy and 1997 national championship at Michigan, wrote in a text message. "I'm glad this process is over and we can begin to restore the tradition and respect that was once Michigan."

  9. Randy Shannon should be an option for Michigan. Brandon says he's willing to spend some serious dough on coaches. Hoke won't get that much, which leaves a large amount to spend on a DC.

If Charles Woodson is all in, so am I!!!
