There have been a few recruiting updates that I have not posted about recently, mainly because after today they could well be insignificant. This one bowl game could well decide the future of the Michigan football program! Anyway, enough hype, here's what's going to happen:
- Michigan establishes a respectable run game early on, opening up the play action pass (and the Denard fake run then pass), causing Michigan to exploit a somewhat weak MSU secondary.
- Denard is buoyed from being healthy for the first time since UConn and takes at least one QB iso to the house from 50+ yards.
- The UM defense is well prepared and gets lucky on a few third and shorts, getting off the field early.
- Michigan jumps out to a 14-0 lead early on, and despite an MSU fightback, storm away with it in the 4th quarter.
Final Prediction: Michigan 42, Mississippi State 24
Side note: Just gave some guy a beating on NCAA 11 with these teams. 14-0 then he quit, go blue!!!
