A few random updates from what's been a busy week for Michigan recruiting:
- Hakeem Flowers is ready to announce his college decision, and will do so this coming Sunday (7:15PM ET) at his high school. His finalists are LSU, Michigan, N.C State and Oregon. Michigan has a really good chance here, and I believe Flowers had a phone call set up with Hoke either for last night or tonight; which is great. Each school will visit him to give their final pitch this week.
- If you haven't seen it already, check out TomVH's interview with Chris Bryant, here. It sounds like he and his family got on well with Coach Hoke yesterday, which means Michigan is the heavy favorite to be announced on January 28th.
- Tony Posada will visit Michigan officially next weekend. He had a good visit to Mississippi State, but if all goes well in Ann Arbor, Posada will stay in this class.
- Kellen Jones expects to get a visit from Michigan coach Fred Jackson this week. Jones is taking visits, but insists he's pretty solid to Michigan; he might even take a trip to Ann Arbor to meet Coach Hoke.
I hope Anthony Zettel signs with Michigan. He loves Michigan, Hoke should try for him.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened with Antonio Kinard?
ReplyDeleteHe did not have the grades..... it's easier to get into Thug U than Ann Arbor.....
ReplyDeleteIts way easier to get into most schools..Which is 1 reason I think the SEC does better than alot of other conferences is because their academic standards are pretty low and anyone can get into those schols..
