I love Twitter

Justice Hayes is tweeting "We gotta Kicker!"

Considering he's on an official visit along with Army AA Kicker Matt Wile, one would naturally assume that Wile has committed. That would make three commitments today!

Waiting for confirmation now...

*MGoBlog's TomVH is confirming the story on Twitter, and that's good enough for me! Analysis/commitment posts coming later tonight.

**UPDATE**: Justice's latest tweet - "We're not done"

Surely not a fourth commit???

  2. Its exciting hearing the recruits flow in ..Then its even more exciting to think about how well next years class will be with a full year to recruit

  3. It just keeps getting better and better. I think I'm falling in love with Brady Hoke. Anything on Willingham though? He is the one I thought it was imperative that they steal away.

  4. 34th was before Wile. We should move up higher now. We may get to the top 25 yet!

  5. No news yet on Willingham yet ...We will see

  6. An all american kicker could move us into the top ten. ha. God Save Michigan

  7. Im waiting for tomorrow and Hakeem Flowers ..I dont know why but I think we will miss out on him

  8. Well, it depends who you listen to. I know TomVH is doubting our chances for Flowers, but I think the guys on scout think we have him.
We were definitely his favorite before the CC, just depends how much that affected him.

  9. If we land either Willingham or A. Poole I will take it ...

  10. Yea we were the favorite for alot of players..And they left unexpectedly so im not to sure about Flowers

  11. I really want Willingham, if he is going to visit UM instead of Texas A&M where he committed we should have a shot. To me Wile is just like a 5 star recruit a guy that can make FG's will be huge next year

  12. Exactly. I've heard a whole lot about players we had in the bag but never landed them. Rich Rod was way to polarizing of a figure. You either love him or hate him. Hoke will land those commits in the years to come. I do miss Zettel and DeAnthony though:( not to mention Kris cross Frost

  13. I think if Hoke would go after Zettel and Arnett we could probably sway them back..Arnett didnt sign with us because he said RR never acted like he really wanted him ..Zettel just wasnt sure about the coaching

  14. No way will Hoke sway Arnett back. He is at Tennessee because Michigan doesn't run a pro system and RR wasn't winning games. The only reason he visited us before deciding was because RR and his staff never gave up on him. Plus Derek Dooley is a good recruiter.
I wouldn't be 100% surprised if Zettel is brought back to Michigan, but right now I don't see it happening. He's pretty comfortable at Penn State, he loves the coaches there.

  16. Could we still be in the hunt fo Ray Drew and Aundrey Walker

  17. Ray Drew is going to stay in the south, sorry hate to say so. It's either UGA or Da Criminoles.

  19. when does flowes announce and how many schollorships do we have to offer this year

  20. Any rumors on Lawrence Thomas? Read a comment on freep that said mich. st. fans would be upset because a certain 4 star recruit was reconsidering Michigan. I'm assuming they were talking Thomas as he is their biggest recruit.

  21. I just saw that Floyd Raven might decided to visit Alabama instead of Michigan. Any word on this??? I really think this kind would be awesome at Michigan. Most likely a safety at 6'2''. Damn the devil Saban

  22. Flowers is announcing at 7:15pm ET on Sunday. And David, if you want to deliver the news to MGoRecruit first, I'd be very grateful. I'll have a thread up on the blog, so you could just put it in the comments section.

  23. the 4 star probably would be Jake Fisher.

  24. How long do players stay on their visits.

  25. Really enjoy following you on twitter. Any word on potential 2012 candidates? I'm really excited about the quality of class that this staff could bring in 2012.

  26. is there any word on if Justice could be right when he tweeted "We're not done" for this weekend

    ReplyDelete
  27. Never thought about Fisher but I guess he is considering State as well so it could be him.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks Paul. There's only a couple weeks until signing day, and they should be quite exciting for Michigan fans, so let's focus on 2011 for now! We'll have a whole year to worry/enjoy 2012 recruiting.

However, 5 names that Michigan should make a priority:
    - Chris Wormley
    - Dan O'Brien
    - Terry Richardson
    - James Ross
    - Royce Jenkins-Stone

  29. Looks like UM doesn't want Flowers. According to the guys on Scout

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah Michigan apparently doesn't want a WR in this class, strange, I would have liked one outside guy, and Flowers seemed like a good option.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think that they should go after Keith Marshall too. Then there are some big DT that we could go after that are located inthe Midwest. We also might have a shot at some ofthe big RB that are coming out in2012. They could be the one guy to help our offense and ease the transition into the more formal pro style offense we want to run
