Fred Jackson Retained

Michigan's RB coach Fred Jackson will remain on the staff after receiving an official offer from Brady Hoke this week. This is good news for recruiting, as Jackson knows the Michigan area very well and has plenty of contacts.

By keeping Jackson on, Michigan still has a chance to land in-state running back Thomas Rawls, who plays for Jackson's son in Flint, MI. Rawls has academic issues, but with the class being so small, and with Rawls being a great talent, Michigan might be willing to take a chance on him qualifying.
