Kris Frost Update

Got an exam in 50 mins, so I'll keep it brief.

Word is that Auburn has finally accepted Kris Frost's verbal commitment.

*UPDATE* - It's been confirmed that Kris Frost is now part of Auburn's recruiting class after being accepted by the Tigers.

This is a huge shame for Michigan as we've really lead all the way (for at least 2 years) and he was even a silent commit in December; so to fall at the final hurdle certainly hurts.

  1. I wonder who's losing their scholarship to make room for him.

  2. I'm not so sure Auburn expected their WR, Adams to leave for the NFL and that is Frost's scholarship.

  3. Everyone talks like Frost would have come in and made an immediate impact but that would not have been the case. Players like Van Bergen said in an interview that Jake Ryan is going to be a stud. He is a tackling machine and isn't afraid to plug the hole. This kid is going to be a stud.

  4. I'll agree Brian that its doubtful that he would be a starter, or even in the two deep; especially now that he's not enrolling early. But still, he is a great (top 20 prospect [5*] per rivals.com) talent, and it hurts big time to lose him after he was a silent commit and seemingly in love with Michigan.

  5. @ Benji dont get caught up in * ratings ..I dont worry about Rivals or ESPN .. True it sucks losing players who "claimed " to love Michigan like him and Zettel and a couple other guys.. But if they dont want to be at Mich let them go ..Like coach Hoke said we want guys who want to be at Michigan

  6. UMFANN - 98% of the kids playing highschool ball have no idea where they want to BE AT. Thats is the whole definition of recruiting. We can't let these kids go. Thats just giving up. I have been a Michigan fan all my life, but when you start visiting schools and your 18 years old, its very hard not to see the glitz and glamour. I don't get caught up in all the ratings either, but I DO KNOW THAT THE SEC DOMINATES RECRUITING THE STARS, AND THEY DOMINATE IN BEING THE BEST. Its a simple correlation. There are always diamonds in the rough, but you won't win a NC or the big ten by not recruiting in the top 25. RECRUITING BIG TIME PLAYERS LEADS TO BIG TIME WINS!!

    GO BLUE!
