The big news today is that Darian Cooper has decided to visit Michigan officially this weekend, after having an in home visit with Greg Mattison yesterday. Michigan would love to take a DT in this class, especially one as good as Cooper, who's a four star prospect.
Whilst getting the visit is great, it will still be an uphill battle to get Cooper to commit to the Wolverines. I got the impression he really liked his Iowa visit, and he has a teammate also considering the Hawkeyes.
Cooper has already visited Michigan before, way back in the spring for the Big House BQQ.
mattison has been doing a great job! I feel like the staff knows we really need a high profile DT, not to be obvious but i would expect the full court press this weekend.
ReplyDeletegreat news, step 1
ReplyDeleteWe are going to need the recruits who are visiting UM this weekend that has already commited to us to be in his ear trying to sway him ..We need Justice Hayes to talk to him via TWITTER and our new recruits to get on him
ReplyDeleteAnyone have a list of who will be visting this coming weekend?

ReplyDeleteWhat a great last 7-10 days for Michigan. I had almost given up hope. What a tremendous job by the new staff to flat out get after it!!! I cannot wait to be sitting in the Big House and watching us actually be competetive again. GO BLUE!!!
ReplyDeleteWith a full year of recruiting under their belt this staff could have this team ready for a very very good 2013.
ReplyDelete2012 Schedule is a killer!
ReplyDeletethe 2012 schedule really isn't all that bad. Only 3 games that I consider to most likely be loses: Alabama (Cowboy stadium), @Nebraska, @Ohio State. The rest of it is pretty powder puff since we don't play Wisconsin and we get Iowa, State and Illinois at home. I'm more worried about the schedule in 2011
ReplyDeleteHey Benji and friends whats our chances with these guys here? ESPN still has them as considering us?

I'd really like to get Conway or Gallon both 6'3' and 6'4', Johnson, Ryles,
2 more days before more decisions are made involving UM recruits. Go Blue.
ReplyDeleteD-Rich, ESPN's considering list is rarely updated, most of those recruits dropped Michigan a while ago. The only one's that are still in play on that list are:
ReplyDelete- Chris Bryant
- Frank Clark
- Jake Fisher
wow, i hate ESPN... id really like to get gallon or conway because we could use a big reciever in this class
ReplyDeleteD-Rich...Conway committed to Michigan but his grades weren't good enough so he is going the JUCO route. He might have a shot next year.
ReplyDeleteI know we have ALOT of LB'S but I really would like Leilon Willingham at U of M , any updates ? A & M still the favorite ? Also are we still interested in Prince Holloway ?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I am curious what the word on Willingham is. Is he still supposed to announce this week or did he push it back to signing day or beyond?
ReplyDeleteLeilon Willingham will announce on signing day after he visits ucf.
ReplyDeletethe visit he took here definitly put michigan above of texas a&m and everyone else he's considering so we have a good shot if ucf doesnt steal him from us
If Hoke took away the offers from all the other WR in this class He probibly took it away from Prince Holloway too. He is also dallas crawfords cousin so when dallas lost intrest in UofM prince probibly did too.
ReplyDeleteI just saw on Rivals that Floyd Raven is committed to Ole Miss.... anyone know if this is true?
ReplyDeleteTexas A&M is out of the picture for Willingham. It is between Michigan and Colorado. Gut feeling is that he ends up at Michigan. Probably just going on the UCF visit for fun.
ReplyDeleteMcClure commited to Cal.
don't underestimate USF they have some of the best facilities in the Country and are a program on the move.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know how Jake Fisher is feeling these days? Last I heard he wasn't leaning Blue anymore. Has Hoke even tried to change his mind or has he abandoned him for other prospects?
ReplyDelete@casandra
ReplyDeleteGreat for USF love the team and school but its too bad for them cause he is visiting UCF. But good thing they have decent facilities but i dont think that there is much competition between them and USF
